Comment Policy
We welcome comments that add to the discussion: corrections, extra information, experience and respectful disagreement. To keep the conversation useful, every comment is read by our team before it appears.
Comments we will not publish
- Abuse, threats, harassment, or personal attacks on other readers, journalists or people in the news;
- Hate speech, or content that targets anyone for their religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation;
- Defamatory claims, unverified accusations of crimes, or content that breaks a court order;
- Personal information about anyone (phone numbers, addresses, ID numbers), including your own;
- Spam, advertising, investment tips or links to unrelated sites (at most two links per comment);
- Obscene content, or anything unlawful under Indian law;
- Comments posted while pretending to be someone else.
How moderation works
- Comments are reviewed before publication, usually within one working day. We may shorten comments, but we do not change their meaning.
- We may refuse or remove any comment, and block anyone who repeatedly breaks these rules.
- Comments are the views of their authors, not of EEST TV.
